Overview: Fun and creative nanny needed for a sweet family of 5 in Green Hills!

Mom and Dad are both TN natives who met in Memphis while attending dental school. They were married in 2016 and had every intention of putting down forever roots in Dad's hometown in east TN, but God had a better plan. In early 2024, they followed a calling to middle TN where Jake was able to pursue a career in cosmetic dentistry and Laurel could be closer to her family in west TN. After two years of praying and three months of unpacking, they now call Green Hills home.

For their careers, Dad is a cosmetic dentist who works out of a Brentwood Office, and Mom is a Pediatric Dentist in Green Hills.

When not working, this fun couple enjoys living life to the fullest with their kids. They frequent every local park and splash pad as well as Cheekwood and the YMCA. And several weekends a month are devoted to traveling to cousins and grandparents at both ends of the state. Mom enjoys cooking and working in the yard, and Dad is an avid golfer, although there is not much time for hobbies these days. They have been visiting churches since their move and are pursuing membership at West End Community Church.

This sweet family has been blessed with three girls in 5 years. Their oldest, (G5) is 5 years old and is the family's little ray of sunshine. She wakes up singing and is a typical first child - very responsible, wants to please, and is at times, cautious. She loves artwork and performances, and all forms of imaginative play. (G5) has always loved school and is in Junior K 5 days a week.

Next in line is (G3) who is 3 years old. (G3) is the family's fearless competitor. She is fast and furious with (G5), but loves to snuggle with her new baby sister and read books with Mom and Dad. She is very smart and although she is quieter than her older sister, she is always paying attention and misses absolutely nothing! She is very athletic and prefers playing ball or doing gymnastics over singing and crafting. (G3) will be home full time.

In January 2024 (G1) made her debut and has been a very easy third baby. She is engaging and full of smiles and mostly just loves attention from her sisters. She is a great eater and sleeper, and is very close to walking! (G1) will be home full time.

There are also two other members of the family who have been dethroned since kids - the family's 10 year old, incredibly lazy English bulldog Bess and their 15 year old, evasive cat Sprinks. Bess will sleep on the couch for possibly the entire day, with the exception of circling (G3)'s chair at mealtimes. She is very gentle with the babies and stays in their yard when outside (if she gets off the couch at all that day). She cannot tolerate heat whatsoever and requires no exercise. In fact, the only way you will know she is here is by her snoring, which is loud. And their elusive Sprinks the cat is less inclined to welcome guests. She keeps to herself, as most cats do. If she comes around, she will accept petting on her terms... She can go in or out as she asks, but mostly, a nanny will not see her. She also is remarkably gentle with the kids.

The family’s ideal candidate is trustworthy and will love their girls as if they were her own. With three kids ages 5 and under, structure and routine are paramount. It is important to them to find a caregiver who will follow the boundaries the family has set for the girls, while also making sure to to carve out time for plenty of free play at home and at least one fun activity a day like making cupcakes, doing sidewalk chalk or bubbles, or going to the park.

The family prioritizes being outside and getting exercise daily and limited time in front of the TV, so a nanny who is active and likes to play would be a very good fit.

And because the family's Christian faith is the foundation of their home, nannies who share in this belief are preferred.

If you are a nanny who wants to be considered as 'part of the family,' this is the job for you!
