Overview: Fun loving and active couple is looking for a committed and experienced nanny to care for their delightful daughter born in JULY 2023.

Like many couples these days, Mom and Dad met on a dating website in 2015 and have been together ever since! They love their East Nashville neighborhood for its sidewalks, proximity to coffee shops and local restaurants, many young families, and sense of community. Mom and Dad care deeply about their family and their careers (Mom is an employment attorney, Dad is a Vanderbilt faculty member.

Both Mom and Dad have Home and Work offices, and will be going back and forth between them, depending on their work schedules. To the extent that they have a little free time, they enjoy traveling (babymoon in Germany) and being active and staying physically fit. This includes HIIT workouts (they completed a HIIT workout within 24 hours of (G1)’s birth!), hiking, and playing soccer and tennis.

(G1) is their delightful daughter who was born mid July 2023. She is intensely curious. She loves observing and exploring her surroundings, manipulating objects to try and understand how they work, and discovering new “places” through books. (G1) is a good-natured and friendly little one: she waves at, blows kisses at, and charms strangers whenever she leaves the house. They are a no-screen family around their daughter and prefer their nanny minimize phone use (communicating with parents, playing music/podcasts for child, taking photos of child all OK) not to use their phone while their daughter is awake. Mom and Dad strive for balance between engaging in play with (G1) and letting her explore her curiosities while supervised. (G1) will be home full time.

Also in the home is the family's sweet 11 year-old Terrier who is their original fur baby!

The family seeks a caring, patient, and reliable nanny who is energetic, engaging, and will foster (G1)’s physical, intellectual, and social growth. Mom and Dad value open communication, enthusiasm for planning (G1)’s learning, activities and excursions, and flexibility when (G1)’s needs change (she attends physical therapy) or their work demands shift. Also, cleanliness is a priority for Mom and the ideal candidate will be respectful and sensitive to this priority.
