Our Placement Process

Step 1:  Consultation

Step 2:  Interviewing

Step 3:  Working Interview

Step 4:  Hiring

If you are interested in hiring a nanny registered with our agency, Nannies of Green Hills, LLC would be happy to begin the placement process for you.

We will schedule an initial phone call with the owner to discuss your childcare needs.  This consultation will give us an opportunity to learn more about your family and your values, and the acute details of your job description in order to form your Client Profile.  ( We will also provide every client with our Client Orientation Packet )

Once your Client Profile is edited and complete, NOGH will present it to our pre-screened nannies whose experience and availability best match your profile requirements.  As we identify candidates that are potentially a "good fit" for you, we will email you their Nanny Profile.  We will schedule all interviews for you and will arrange to have the candidate either meet you in your home or at a public location of your choice.  We are happy to schedule interviews with a host of screened candidates until you find the perfect match for your family.

When you have reached the decision to hire a candidate, we will assist you in putting together an offer letter for the nanny and also assist you in drafting a contract.  We will also provide guidance regarding the financial and legal responsibilities of household employers.

Nannies of Green Hills strongly suggests that part of your nanny hiring process includes a working interview.

"A working interview is an introduction to your household, routines, schedules, and neighborhood, smoothing the transition process if and when you decide to move forward with a nanny.  It is a trial run and should closely mirror actual home life, whether that's picking a child up from school or playing at home for the day."

Working interviews can last anywhere from a few hours to a full day of employment.  After your working interview is completed, and you are confident that the caregiver is a good fit, it is time to put together a formal offer of employment.
