Overview: Fun and Collaborative Nanny needed for soon to be Family of 5 in Franklin.
Mom and Dad are both originally from California, and met in 2012 while attending Dental School together in San Francisco. Flash forward to today, and the couple has 2 beautiful children and a third on the way in August 2024.
For their careers, Dad is an Orthodontist who works 3.5 days per week and Mom is an Endodontist who also works 3.5 days per week, with both parents working outside the home.
Their oldest (G4) is a fierce and talkative girl who just turned 4 this July. (G4) goes to school Monday through Thursday 9am - 2pm.
Her little brother (B2) is a smiley and sweet little guy who just turned 2, also in July! (B2) goes to school Mondays and Wednesdays 9am - 2pm.
(G4) and (B2) have had the same nanny for over a year, and she will continue to work for the family on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. With Baby #3 on the way, the family is looking for an additional nanny to help with infant care and a little House Management as well!
Also in the home is the family's 9 year old Cavapoo, who is very sweet.
Mom and Dad are very hands on parents, who value family time together - like sitting down for meals, evening bedtime routines and having fun on the weekends.
This sweet couple envisions their nanny as a true member of their family, who will be with them for many years to come. Their ideal candidate will be fun and creative, and able to come up with activities that engage (NB) and keep their little one away from screens as much as possible.
And because a caregiver may be driving the children for outings, and school pick ups and drop offs, nannies who are experienced and comfortable transporting small children are required.
Understanding this is a hybrid Nanny / House Manager position, caregivers who have experience and are comfortable with both roles is ideal.

Overview of nanny's typical day:
7:30 AM - Nanny Arrives
On Mondays, Nanny will take on the role of House Manager, with some childcare/transportation needed for (G4) and (B2)
On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, nanny will be primarily responsible for (NB), allowing for Mom to breastfeed.
Nanny will help put (NB) down for a nap, changing diapers and then engaging (NB) in developmentally appropriate activities like tummy time, outside time, and engagement with toys.
5:30 PM - End of Day
House Management responsibilities can include:
Grocery shopping as needed
Food prep for children
Laundry/Linens
Present shopping and wrapping
Returns or exchanges
Shopping + errands
Seasonal shopping for children
Maintaining a list of items the family is running low on
Maintaining Family Calendar and notifying of changes
Family prefers, but does not 100% require candidates to have an up to date TDap and Flu Shot. Family does NOT require candidates to have received the Covid vaccine.
7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays

AUGUST 2024 - The family would like a caregiver in place as soon as possible, but can be patient and wait for the right person.
