Overview: Playful and attentive nanny needed for newborn in East Nashville.
What got them here is beyond their full comprehension, but we know that Mom grew up in south Georgia and Dad grew up in Arizona. They lived over 35 years without each other, forging journeys of following their dreams in music, fashion, makeup, non profits, travel, and wondering if they would ever meet someone that could meet everything on their list of desires for a mate. Then one day, Mom messaged Dad on Bumble and for two people who don't have or want to use social media it was a MATCH, even in cyberspace. The Lord blessed them with wonderful conversation, alignment of goals, appreciation for a lifestyle that prioritizes health and wellness, and joy in the adventure of Christ centered living. They were married in the historic church of Corinthian Baptist Church by Rev. Enoch Fuzz and were quickly blessed with a baby boy (BNB).
(BNB) is a laid back, calm, smiley, and sometimes thunderous baby. His beautiful blue eyes and smile are incredibly striking and to see him when he just wakes up or to catch him while he shakes his sillies out immediately raises the happiness quotient and mood. He enjoys calm and mellow scenes and he is attentive more than most. (BNB) will be home full time.
Bowery is the family dog who now weighs less than the baby. He is a Havanese, which is a breed that many know for being a circus dog who can do tricks and elaborate requests. Bowery gets very excited for delivery drivers and is very protective of the family pack. In his mind he is much bigger than he is in real life, but he is genuinely good natured and wanting to be close by just in case you get the urge to play.
Mom has a great job that allows her to work from home in the beauty industry. She has spent a long time learning the trends of the market and communicates what she sees to executives. Dad has a job outside of the home and he loves to be on the move in business and creative work. They are currently in the process of searching out the very important role in their life of professional support for (BNB), so that they can be professionals in their respective fields.
They live in East Nashville in a two-story home near the park and welcome the newness of life with an open heart and excitement to see what happens next.
Mom and Dad say their family is defined by the desire to wake up grateful and focused on loving God and each other. In their spare time they enjoy getting outside and exploring nature, sharing a delicious meal, and dance parties in the living room.

Overview of nanny's typical day:
9:30 AM – Nanny Arrives
While (BNB) is awake, we would love playful interaction reading, singing, playing, supervising tummy time and taking stroller walks.
Also - keeping (BNB) well-fed is key, he has a voracious appetite!
While (BNB) is napping, we would love help managing his laundry, cleaning his play areas, emptying diaper genies and washing his bottles/utensils.
2:30 PM – End of Day
Family does not require candidates to have a current Tdap, Covid vaccine or Flu Shot.
$25 per hour
Weekly guarantee of hours

Monday through Thursday
9:30 am – 2:30 pm
~ 20 hours per week
January 6, 2025. Having a nanny in place by early January is ideal, but the family is patient and can wait for the right person.
Family would like a nanny that can commit to at least a year of employment. If you are looking for a long term position, please take this family into consideration, as they anticipate employing a caregiver for several years to come!
