Overview: Laid back, family oriented couple is looking for a committed and experienced nanny to care for their sweet baby boy who is 11 months old.
Mom and Dad met as Freshmen at Vanderbilt University and have been doing life together ever since. For their careers, Mom works for the TN Dept. of Education and Dad works in Technical Consulting. Both Mom and Dad are required to be in office Mon-Thurs each week, with occasional evenings out.
This couple loves Nashville and has a great community of friends and lots of family around, and prioritize spending quality time with all. In their spare time, they love spending time outdoors, and attending Vandy sporting events as proud alumni!
Charlie was born in March 2024 and Mom and Dad could not be more smitten, and are starting to get their rhythm with an energetic and sweet soon-to-be toddler. Charlie loves the swings, crawling up and down their hallways and stairs, snacks and mealtimes, and is very snuggly and mild-mannered.
Also currently in the home is the family's cat Ruby. She is very social and loves to play and cuddle and be around people whenever possible. Please note, Ruby will be kept separate from Charlie due to an allergy.
This sweet couple envisions their nanny as a true member of their family, who will be with them for many years to come and is also willing to also take on house managerial tasks to support them in day-to-day life. Their ideal candidate will be fun and creative, and able to come up with activities that engage Charlie and keep him away from screens as much as possible. Charlie loves his stroller, so the family is looking for someone who enjoys long walks and park visits.
Also, someone who is patient and can be of support in identifying developmental milestones, and help Mom and Dad navigate life as new parents. They are also hopeful that their nanny is able to provide support in setting boundaries and expectations with their child.
A nanny with an adventurous spirit will fit right in, as Mom and Dad vacation with their close family regularly, both on the East and West Coast, in locations that are fun for all to enjoy. They are hopeful to find a candidate who would be willing to travel with them on occasion as well. It is important to note that ability to travel is not a 100% requirement for this position.
