Overview: Loving and attentive Full Time Nanny needed in Nashville, May 2025.
Mom and Dad are both natives of Tennessee who met on Spring Break at the end of their college senior year. After dating for 7 years, they tied the knot and celebrated their 3rd wedding anniversary last October!
For their careers, Mom works in Government Affairs, advocating for the addition of clean sustainable energy to the grid and in our communities. Mom works fully remote and travels frequently for her job. Dad is a Manager at Schneider Electric and has a hybrid role, working in office a few days a week and then remote from home as well.
When not working or preparing for their little girl’s arrival, Mom and Dad love to stay active through rock climbing (pre-pregnancy), walking their neighborhood and Radnor Lake, and spending time with family and friends. They love to cook – especially Italian Dishes - and are always looking for new recipes to try. Individually, Mom enjoys crafting/DIY projects and lives by the philosophy of ‘I can make that,’ with her newest hobby being sewing, and Dad enjoys being outside, and getting a laugh in at Zanies Comedy Club. They picked up Pickleball last year, like many others, and even got a net for their driveway.
The couple will welcome their first child, a baby girl (GNB), in March and are incredibly excited to start their journey as First time Parents. (GNB) will be home full time.
Also in the home is the family’s 2 year old Golden Retriever Ravioli, a goofy, and loving pup who brings joy to everyone she meets. She is great with kids, well trained and will do anything for a treat. She is getting excited to be a big sister and frequently goes to the nursery to check things out.
Mom and Dad believe children thrive with consistency, clear communication, and lots of love. With (GNB) arriving soon, they are still establishing their parenting style, but they aim to have a balanced approach between providing structure to the day, while also being flexible as they learn what works best for their family. Their goals are to teach their daughter empathy and kindness by modeling these behaviors themselves, and to create a positive and supportive home environment that encourages curiosity and learning. They plan to set appropriate boundaries for their daughter, while giving her space for independence and growth, and always staying patient and understanding during challenging moments.
The family’s ideal candidate has a warm and nurturing personality, and genuinely enjoys caring for infants. Someone who is safety-focused and highly attentive, who can support their daughter’s growth and development, and help her meet her milestones. The family would like a nanny who will maintain a daily log, therefore candidates who are organized and good communicators are preferred. And because (GNB) is their first child, they would like a nanny who wants to partner with them as they navigate their new role as parents.
Although candidates who are potentially available to travel with Mom on work trips to help support her while she is still breast feeding are ideal, it is important to note that this is not a requirement for the job.
If you are a nanny looking for a warm and welcoming family to work for, this is the position for you!
