Overview: Loving and attentive nanny needed for Family of 4 in Nashville!
Like many couples these days, Mom and Dad met while in school and have been doing life together ever since! For their careers, Mom and Dad are both Physicians. Mom works from home full time in a designated office space, while Dad is a Surgeon with a Private Group in Nashville, and works outside of the home.
To the extent that they have a little free time, they enjoy being active and staying physically fit. This includes taking a run together and getting the boys (and their dog) outside whenever possible. Evenings are for settling in and spending time together as a family, often watching football games.
Together the couple has 2 children.
Their oldest, (B3) is an extremely sweet, active and funny little guy who enjoys making people laugh and has a great imagination. He loves reading, singing, playing sports, trucks and being outdoors. His is exceptionally fond of his new baby brother who arrived in late July. (B3) goes to school 3 days per week and is thriving there. (B3) will be home 2 days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Baby brother (BNB) is sweet and snuggly and already getting into a good routine. (BNB) will be home full time.
Mom and Dad consider themselves to be kind and welcoming family, with a gentle but firm parenting style. They keep both boys on a schedule but don't hesitate to be flexible when need be. They have established verbal boundaries as discipline, and use quiet timeouts for a few minutes as needed with their toddler.
The family’s ideal candidate is patient, loving, experienced and reliable. Someone who is comfortable caring for 2 children at once, and who will make sure their boys are loved and kept safe at all times. Although driving will not be needed immediately, the family wants a candidate who will be able to drive the boys to activities (Using the family's large SUV) once a strong relationship has been established. Understanding this, candidates who are experienced and comfortable driving children is a requirement. Keeping their home clean and organized is a priority for both Mom and Dad, and they are happy to communicate established routines with their new nanny. Their ideal candidate will be receptive and sensitive to this priority. Also, the family would like a nanny that is proactive and a good communicator; someone who will be able to monitor school activities and schedules for (B3), and notify them when household supplies are running low.
Overview of nanny's typical day:
8 AM: Nanny arrives
- M/W/F: Nanny helps get (B3) ready for school (finish breakfast, getting him dressed, potty, etc) and drive him to school with (BNB).
Drop off is between 8:45-9:05 AM.
After drop off, Nanny will return home and care for (BNB) which includes feedings, diaper changes, tummytime and putting him down for naps.
During naptime, the family would like a nanny to help with the family's dishes and keeping the kitchen area clean, children's laundry, and general tidying/vacuuming of common areas and children's rooms.
1:45 pm - School Pick Up
Nanny returns home and cares for both children until end of day
4pm - End of Day
- T/Th: Nanny helps care care for both (B3) and (BNB) - managing meal schedules, potty time, stimulating activities for (B3), and feeds/naps for (BNB).
During naptime, the family would like a nanny to help with the family's dishes and keeping the kitchen area clean, children's laundry, and general tidying/vacuuming of common areas and children's rooms.
4pm - End of Day
*Family is 100% requiring the Flu Shot and TDAP, with consideration of Medical Exemptions. Family does not require candidates to have received the Covid Vaccine.
$25 - $30 per hour
