Overview: Full Time Nanny/House Manager needed for family of 5 in Belle Meade.

Family Background: 

We are a family of five. We have three daughters, (M) is 15 years old, (A) is 13 years old, and (E) is 12 years old. (M) attends St. Cecelia, (A) attends Overbrook Catholic School and (E) attends Currey Ingram Academy. We have three dogs: two German Shepherds and a mixed breed 40 lb dog, all are friendly inside house dogs. We also have tropical fish and honeybees, the bees are outside, so no worries. 

Both Mom and I (Dad) work from home a few days a week. We have office spaces. Mom is a partner at a law firm and Dad is a small business owner who owns and operates assisted living facilities that specializes in Alzheimer’s Disease.

Sadly, our time with our current nanny is coming to an end, so we are looking for a new nanny to join our fun loving family and assist us with the day to day care of our girls.  

Family does NOT require candidates to have received the Covid vaccine, TDap or Flu Shot.

Qualities we are looking for: A positive attitude goes a long way. Fortunately, our girls are well mannered and very happy people, but at times, they can be challenging through frustrations or having a bad day, so having a positive attitude is a big plus. Having a proactive personality is also very helpful, given that we have three daughters, helping manage their schedules can be hectic if we are not on top of it. Dedication is very important to us too, being able to come to work every day scheduled is critical because you will be needed to pick up at one of the two schools.

Overview of Nanny's Typical Day: A typical work day for the summer would start with the girls doing an hour of their summer school work / reading. After that, we typically ask that the girls go outside on a hike, to the park or hang out at the pool. We also regularly send them to pottery, the zoo, museum, bounce house, indoor rock climbing, etc. We are open to ideas for the summer. 

During the school year, picking up the girl(s) at one of their schools and helping getting them to after school activities are the priority. Driving is required for this position. Helping the girls stay on top of their school work and helping them as needed. All year, we need help with the girls laundry and helping with dishes, if there’s an opportunity and time permits. We all work together to stay on top of the family needs, a nanny not expected to handle all of this, but, help us manage. 

  

FYI - I (Dad) am an excellent cook and you are welcome to have dinner with us. Every nanny that has worked with us has had dinner with us.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 



  

 

 

 

 



 


















$25 - $30 per hour on experience and ability to work with our school year schedule. 

 




30-40 hours per week (We can offer as few as 30 hours for the weeks that the girls are in school, if that were a nanny’s preference. We are flexible and can offer anywhere from 30 to 40 hours on those weeks!) 

 

10am – 6pm during the summer and school closings. School year—1pm to 8pm.

 

ASAP - but we are flexible and can be patient and wait for the right person.

Length of Employment: We would like a nanny that could commit to at least a year of employment. We anticipate needing nanny services for the next several years.
