Overview: East Coast transplants have settled into Nashville and are looking for a part-time nanny to join their family for their 2 little ones, ages 7 and 4. This relaxed, laid back family loves to spend time together - whether it’s in their backyard, exploring new restaurants, or traveling the world. Mom is a Clinical Nutritionist who loves to cook and tend to her garden! She put her career on the back burner while the babies were little so she could soak up as much time with them as possible, but she's planning on going back to work part-time in the new year. Dad is in real estate, and runs a family business that is based in Connecticut. Despite his busy hours, he is an extremely present father, and in his spare time, you’ll find he and Mom shuttling the kids around to their various activities.
Their oldest (G7) is wise beyond her years, smart as a whip, and will keep everyone on their toes at all times! She loves her homeschool tutorial and making new friends. She’s recently begun horseback riding, and enjoys activities such as dance and soccer. She is very independent and can sit at the kitchen table for hours writing letters or doing art projects. She will be in school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and will be home Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
She adores her little brother (B4) who is a sweet little mama’s boy. He’s a lover at heart, and will be the first person to give anyone a hug or kiss! He admires everything his big sister does, and when they aren’t playing together, he is begging to go outside! He loves the outdoors, and would spend all day outside if he could. He’s always looking for interesting rocks, branches, and leaves! He enjoys playing with trains, cars, and legos. He will be in school Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Friday’s from 9-3pm. (B4) will be home on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The family’s ideal candidate is kind, trustworthy and has a passion for toddler-aged children and the joys and challenges that go along with their age. Someone who has a positive attitude, and is excited about coming to work every day! This tight knit and loving family is not looking for an employee, but an invaluable extension of their family who will be treated as such. This includes being invited on several family vacations each year!
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the nanny’s typical day will include arriving while Mom is getting her daughter (G7) ready for school and possible drop off, then returning home for playtime, outdoor activities and putting the little guy down for naps. During nap time, the family would like help with meals and laundry, and general tidying around the house. Afternoons are filled with lots of play, possible school pick up or errand, and helping get dinner ready. If Mom and Dad would like to go out on a date night, hours may shift to later in the day Thursday's, which would then include dinner and bedtime for both kiddos. On Wednesday's, Mom would love help with meal prep, cooking, and laundry, as well as picking her son (B4) up from school and playing with him while Mom takes daughter to dance!

~24 hours / week
Tuesday: 8 AM - 5:30 PM (9.5 hours)
Wednesday: 1 PM - 6 PM (5 hours)
Thursday: 8 AM - 5:30 PM OR 12 - 9:30 PM (9.5 hours)
***Additional weekend date night are available if a nanny were interested

~30 hours / week
Monday: 11AM - 5pm (6 hours)
Tuesday: 8 AM - 5:30 PM (9.5 hours)
Wednesday: 1 PM - 6 PM (5 hours)
Thursday: 8 AM - 5:30 PM OR 12 - 9:30 PM (9.5 hours)
***Additional weekend date night are available if a nanny were interested
***It is important to note that the family can be very flexible on start and end times if needed. They are looking for a long term fit and willing to adjust their schedule if needed. Also, they would really like a nanny that was open to work one Saturday per month from 4pm - 10pm, and would work with a caregiver on scheduling that based on the nanny's availability.
The family can hire immediately, but can also be patient and wait for the right person.
