Overview: Kind and resourceful Nanny / House Manager needed for busy family in Brentwood.

Mom and Dad have lived in Nashville since 2017. Both have demanding careers that require work travel. When in town, they work out of their corporate offices 3 to 4 days per week, and from their home offices 1 to 2 days per week. In their spare time, they love biking with their kiddos, spending time outdoors, traveling, attending the kids' sporting events, and squeezing in a date night whenever possible.

Together the couple has 3 wonderful children:

Their youngest, (B5), loves swimming and takes weekly swim lessons and is starting Pre-K this fall. He has an outgoing and curious personality, and loves to play and be interacted with. He enjoys music, water activities, building Legos and train sets, and visiting local playgrounds. He is very active and loves spending time outdoors. He is close to his brother and sister and usually likes to be wherever the rest of the family is!

(B10) is their middle child and big sweetheart with an earnest personality. He has a great sense of humor and loves to tell funny stories with the family around the dinner table. He will be in 5th grade this fall, and usually has a packed school week with nightly homework and soccer practice three nights a week. On weekends he enjoys relaxing with a move, playing Minecraft online with friends, and having playdates with close friends.

(G17), their high school senior, is an amazing big sister and huge help around the house. She has a very outgoing personality with lots of friends and an active social life. She plays varsity soccer, is a student ambassador, and is busy preparing for college applications this fall. (G17) has her own vehicle and is very self sufficient.

All 3 children are in school full time starting this fall.

The 4th 'kiddo' is the family's Maltese-Poodle rescue dog, who is well-behaved and low maintenance, but loves any attention or belly rubs he can get!

As dual career working parents, Mom and Dad have been privileged to have several wonderful nannies over the years who became part of their family, and who they continue to keep in touch with today!

The family's ideal candidate is kind, caring, attentive, reliable and resourceful. Understanding that driving is an important part of the job description, candidates with experience transporting children and who have a clean driving record are a must. Also, this family travels several weeks out of the year - both domestically and internationally - particularly during the summer months. An adventurous nanny who also loves to travel, and would be able to join in on trips (7 -10 days at a time) would be ideal!

If you are a nanny looking to be valued as a part of a family, and respected as an important member of the household, this is the family for you!

~ 40 hours per week

During the school year:
11:30 AM - 7:30 PM (on average)
*With core hours of 2:30 - 6:00 required.
Hours outside of this window (2:30 - 6:00) can follow the current schedule of 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM, OR they can be rearranged based on the weekly activities/or hourly preference of a nanny.

**The family would like a nanny that is flexible to incorporate one later evening per week on a weeknight, and (1) weekend evening/day per month. Some weeks, this can be included in the 40 hour guarantee, however there will be some weeks when this is in addition to the 40 hours needed. (If you are interested in this position, but cannot offer evening/weekend availability, please note that in your response.)

***For Summer (2025) and some School Holidays, nanny hours will shift to:
8:30 - 5:30 Monday through Thursday
8:30 - 12:30 Fridays

****As noted above, both Mom and Dad have jobs that require them to travel. Although they make every effort to not travel at the same time, typically once every 8 weeks or so, they find themselves out of town at the same time for 1 night. It is important that a nanny is able to stay overnight with the children on these occasions. This would be on top of the regularly scheduled 40 hours, and result in overtime for that week.
