Overview: Sweet and active Nashville couple is looking for a loving and experienced nanny to care for their sweet baby girl, born February 2024.
Mom and Dad have been residents of Nashville since 2011, and settled in their home in Sylvan park since 2017. For their careers, Mom is a Buyer for Dollar General and works from her home office 2 to 3 days per week. Dad is in Finance and also has a hybrid role, working from home a few days a week as well.
Mom and Dad describe themselves as happy homebodies who enjoy cooking and streaming current Netflix series, who also make time to get to the gym several mornings per week.
Currently there are no pets in the home.
The couple's first child, (B9), is a sweet and self-sufficient little guy who loves all things sports-related and art! He is currently involved with basketball, soccer and track! For summer 2024, he is busy with summer camps, and this fall, he will start 3rd grade at Overbrook Catholic School.
His little sister (GNB) arrived in February and is a total bundle of joy. She is a very cheery baby who has already settled into a nice feeding and nap routine. (GNB) has a full time spot at daycare, but Mom and Dad want to transition her slowly and have her go only 2 to 3 days per week for at least the next 6 months. (GNB) will be home part time.
The ideal candidate for this young couple is loving, patient and a good communicator. Someone who is well versed in infant care, who will provide a fun and enriching environment, where their little one can learn through play. (GNB) loves getting outside, so a nanny open to stroller walks to the park or the nearby library is preferred. Also, understanding that the next 6 months will see (GNB) transitioning to solids, and it is important to this family that their little ones eat healthy nutritious meals, a nanny who also prioritizes healthy eating choices is ideal.

Overview of nanny's typical day:
9am - Nanny arrives
If (GNB) is awake, change/feed/play/read/walk with her
During nap - clean bottles and/or toys; start or fold laundry, if necessary
Next wake time - Clean/feed/play/read (bouncer, tummy time, sensory play)

5pm - End of Day
Family 100% requires candidates to have received the COVID vaccine, and have an updated TDap and Flu Shot.
$27 - $30 per hour
Weekly guarantee of hours
Paid Holidays
3) days per week
9AM - 5PM
The family's ideal days are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
but they can be flexible on days prior to hire.
~ 24 hours per week
The family would like to have a caregiver in place As Soon As Possible, but are patient and can wait for the right person.
This position requests a nanny that can commit to at least 6 months of employment, with the possibility of extending.
