Overview: After living in multiple cities over the last decade - Minneapolis, Miami, St. Louis - this hard working couple moved to Nashville a year ago, and are planning to put down roots here and raise their family.
For their careers, Mom works at Vanderbilt as an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon and spends most of her days fixing broken bones and taking care of severely injured patients. Dad is an Athletic Trainer who also works at Vanderbilt. They met over a decade ago while Mom was in medical school, and celebrated their 5 year anniversary this past year.
When not working, Mom and Dad both enjoy heading to the gym, watching sporting events like college football and European soccer, and getting out to the Farmer's Market and local eateries.
The couple has one daughter, (G2), and another baby girl due in October!
Their oldest, (G2), is a happy, fun-loving toddler that enjoys the park, swinging, swimming, singing and dancing. She is a bit of a social butterfly and makes friends with strangers wherever she goes. She loves reading and learning, and will likely be very inquisitive once she starts speaking more! (G2) attends daycare full time, and really enjoys her time there with friends and organized activities.
The family is excited to welcome (GNB), who will arrive this fall. (GNB) will be home full time.
Currently there are no pets in the home - just a few plants around that they have managed to keep alive for a few years now. 😊
Mom and Dad truly value their role as parents. They consider themselves to be a fairly laid-back family, keeping (G2) on a schedule, but not hesitating to be flexible when needed. Their goal is to provide their daughters with a safe and loving environment, and raise them to be respectful and kind individuals.
The family's ideal candidate is loving, caring, honest and a good communicator. Someone who will love their girls as if they were her own. Mom and Dad respect that the work of a caregiver can be challenging, and vow to always be a support system for their nanny.
Candidates with recent infant experience are preferred, as most days will consist of solo care for their newborn. That being said, because the couple anticipates there could be days when schools are closed and (G2) will be home as well, they do need a nanny who is comfortable caring for more than one child at a time.
Mom and Dad will typically take (G2) to school and pick her up daily, but they will need their nanny to be a backup option, should the the need arise. Also, they are open to a nanny driving one or both children to the park or to activities, so caregivers who with clean driving records and experience transporting children are ideal.

Family strongly prefers, but does not 100% require candidates to have an up to date TDap, Flu Shot and Covid vaccine.
Overview of nanny's typical day:
7am - Nanny arrives at family home
7a-730a get settled with (GNB); Mom and Dad leave around 730a to drop (G2) off at daycare
730a-afternoon (3p/4p/5p): feed, change diapers, play with, and monitor naps for (GNB)
During naptime, the family would like a nanny to help with bottle cleaning, and food items utilized during the day and children's laundry if needed.
-On the occasional days when daycare is closed and nanny will be responsible for caring for both children, the family will increase pay rate for those days accordingly.
$25 - $30 per hour
Weekly guarantee of (35) hours
Paid Holidays around Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years
40 hours per week
Between the hours of 7am and 5pm
(The family anticipates there could be a few weeks where a nanny will be asked to work over 40 hours. A nanny's hours will not exceed 45 hours on these weeks)
