Overview: Fun loving and flexible nanny needed for sweet baby girl in Nashville.

This sweet couple met in Nashville while attending Medical School, and the rest, you can say, is history. Currently, both Mom and Dad are in Residency, carrying full time roles at Vanderbilt Hospital.

During their free time, the couple enjoys quiet movie nights or going out to eat. And when long weekends come around, they love to go on hiking trips.

Mom and Dad welcomed their first child, a baby girl (G6mos), in September 2024. She is a tiny, sweet, giggly 6 month old, who is just starting to explore solids, and cackles nonstop. (G6mos) has been on a schedule since she was 6 weeks old, and has done very well with this.

(G6mos) will be home full time.

Also in the home are the family’s 2 hypo-allergenic Doodles, who are very sweet and well behaved, and adored by their baby sister.

With demanding jobs that require long hours, Mom and Dad like a more laid- back atmosphere at home, spending their free time relaxing, and spending as much time with their sweet baby girl as possible. They consider their parenting style as semi-structured, but flexible, and state their biggest goals for (G6mos) are that she is safe, happy, and knows she is loved.

The family’s ideal candidate is proactive, patient, flexible, kind, and curious. Someone experienced and trustworthy, who will help (G6mos) grow and thrive, while ensuring a safe, loving and supportive environment where she can be curious and explore!

And because the family is looking for a nanny willing to drive (G6mos) to activities like a music class or Story Time, candidates with experience transporting children are preferred.

If you are a nanny looking for a work environment where you feel respected and appreciated, this is the job for you!

Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday
~40 hours/week
* Most weeks a nanny will have 40 hours of employment between the hours of 6am and 6pm.

**There will be some weeks where 48 hours of employment will be needed between the hours of 6am and 7pm.
Nanny will know her exact schedule on the Friday before her next work week.

Also – Grandma watches (G6mos) 1 day per week, currently Wednesdays. It is possible to shift this to another day if needed, providing a nanny with an alternate 4 day/week schedule.

It is important to note that Mom and Dad have extended family nearby that can pitch in and help if a nanny is not able to stay late on occasion.

Also, (G6mos) has a spot in daycare, so if a nanny wanted to work a split shift and do pick up/drop off a couple of days a week for a reduced schedule, that can be arranged as well.

 · Anytime! - The family would like to have a caregiver in place as soon as possible, but are patient and will wait for the best fit.

· This position requests a nanny that can commit to at least a year of employment, with the possibility of extending from there. Family will be moving out of Nashville in June of 2026.
