Overview: Loving and Active Nanny needed for sweet baby girl in Nashville.
Having been born and raised in Salt Lake City, Mom spent her college and post college years moving around the US, before she landed in Chicago for her OB Anesthesia Fellowship. It was here that she met Dad, a Chicago native, and the two bonded quickly and knew they had found their forever person. They were married in Utah, with a wedding weekend that included a hike, Group Yoga, and Octoberfest, and in 2021 decided their next big adventure would be a move to Nashville.
For their careers, Mom is an OB Anesthesiologist at VUMC, and Dad works from home for a Medical Supply Company as an Internal IT Auditor.
Early this summer, they welcomed their biggest adventure, their first child (G5mos), and they couldn’t be happier. They say (G5mos) is a very social 5 month old, who loves baths, the fireplace, and soft toys! She is surprisingly flexible with her schedule, often napping on-the-go, and is meeting all of her developmental milestones. (G5mos) is home full time.
Also in the home is the couple’s 7 year old, very sweet and very well behaved Aussiedoodle, who enjoys napping at your feet and sometimes eating carrots.
Mom and Dad consider themselves to be a laid-back family who enjoys being active and outdoors. They have no family in the area, but are very close with their parents who visit multiple times per year.
The family's ideal candidate is:
Loving and Nurturing: Someone who loves babies and toddlers and has an avid interest in helping them grow and develop. Someone who is warm, compassionate, and tuned in to the emotional and physical needs of their daughter. (G5mos) has a stiff muscle in her neck, and does need some help with some basic stretching, so a nanny who will be attentive to her PT is desired.
Reliable and Responsible: Someone who will be at work on time, will communicate and plan with mom and dad, and who will always have their daughter’s best interest at heart.
Honest and Transparent: Someone who is interested in forming a foundation of trust, and who will partner well with Mom and Dad and become a valued member of their family.
And because Driving may become part of a nanny’s job description, candidates who are experienced and comfortable driving minors, and who have a clean driving record, are a must.
Family does NOT require candidates to have received the Covid Vaccine, or Flu Shot. Family DOES require candidates to have an up to date Tdap.
