Overview: Warm and Nurturing Career Nanny needed for Family of 4 in Nashville.

Like many couples these days, Mom and Dad met online in 2018, and have since married and built a home grounded in kindness, curiosity and open communication.

For their careers, Dad works in Corporate Finance at Healthcare Company and Mom is a Physician. Both have demanding positions that have them out of the home and often require long hours and travel. When not working, they enjoy getting outdoors as a family, exploring new restaurants, cooking at home and traveling when possible.

Together, the couple has 2 beautiful children.

Their oldest, (G2.5), is a bright and playful toddler who loves crafts, books, outdoor adventures, and pretend play in her new toy kitchen. Mom and Dad say she is a great communicator, curious, and already showing a caring nature toward her baby brother and the people around her. She attends preschool full-time on Monday – Friday and has weekly music / swim classes during the weekend. (G2.5) will be home during school closings.

Their sweet and easy-going infant son, (BNB), arrived mid-June, and is already eating and sleeping well and growing quickly. Mom and Dad are steadfast in supporting his early development in a calm and nurturing environment. (BNB) will be home full time.

At this time, there are no pets in the home.

Mom and Dad consider their parenting style to be a healthy balance of nurturing and structure. They believe in gentle parenting, and setting clear boundaries with kindness and consistency. They value creativity, emotional intelligence, and positive discipline, in a home that is respectful, loving, and intentional.

The family’s current nanny has been with them for over a year, and they have had a wonderful experience with her. Unfortunately, her time with them is coming to an end, so they are looking for a new caregiver to join the family circle and help support them in raising their son and daughter.

 The family's ideal candidate is:

Warm and Nurturing: Someone who genuinely loves children, builds strong bonds, and brings a calm and caring energy into the home each day.

Experienced and Developmentally Attuned: Someone who is confident with infants and toddlers, especially around sleep, feeding, and supporting early learning through play, structure and routine.

Mature and Dependable: Someone who is emotionally steady, grounded and consistent, and who has the ability to handle day to day challenges with sound judgement and grace.

A Clear and Honest Communicator: Someone who is open, transparent, and comfortable partnering closely with parents through daily updates and shared expectations.
Flexible: Dad travels for work 2 to 3 days at a time, every few weeks, and Mom is on call for a full week (7 days in a row) every 2 to 3 months. During those weeks, the family will need a nanny who can be flexible to stay a little later, or come in a little earlier. In exchange for this flexibility, the family will always plan ahead and clearly communicate with a nanny regarding schedule changes.
Has a Long Term Mindset: Someone who sees nannying as a meaningful, professional career, and is excited to grow with a family over time.
Respectful: The family has a firm ‘No Screen Time’ policy for their children, and wants a nanny who will observe this for the children, and for herself, while working.
And because Driving will be needed on occasion, a nanny who is experienced and comfortable driving minors, and who has a clean driving record, is a must.

Family 100% requires candidates to have received the Covid Vaccine, and to have a current Tdap and Flu Shot.
