About: Both Mom and Dad are Nashville natives and have been together for 12 years. For their careers, Dad owned a Construction Company that he sold the year before last and owns a Real Estate Investment Company that keeps him busy. Although he can work from his home office on occasion, he is usually at his corporate office in Hendersonville on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s when in town. As for Mom, she is a Realtor and SAHM. Despite this couple's ability to find time to relax, it seems a busy life fits them best! They are always on the go and love to travel when they can. When not traveling, they love to golf and enjoy all the amenities their property has to offer!
Their oldest (G5) is a very sweet little girl who turned 5 at the beginning of September. She loves playing with her barbie dolls, getting outside to play, swimming, drawing with chalk, riding her scooter, arts and crafts and playing with bubble machines. She also really likes playing dress up in her princess dresses! She LOVES bubbles and lights during bathtime.
(G5) is in MDO or daycare 5 days a week during the school year and 3 days a week during summer and school breaks.
Her little brother (B3) is all boy and is the cutest wild little man! His nickname is Turbo! He loves throwing balls, swinging his plastic golf clubs, following his sisters’ every move and eating fruit snacks. (B3) is in MDO or daycare 5 days a week during the school year and 3 days a week during summer and school breaks.
Also in the home is the family's energetic English Bulldog who will be 8 at the end of September.
This family is looking for a full time Nanny/Family Assistant. Mom will be home part-time, and is hoping to find a nanny that is comfortable caring for both children alone while she manages the home or runs errands, and who is also comfortable taking on House Management responsibilities as well. They have had 3 sweet nannies for the past several years, but sadly it is time for their current caregiver to move on, and so the family would like to find a new nanny to take her place.
The family's ideal candidate is energetic, enthusiastic, confident, tidy, compassionate, outgoing and a go getter. Someone who takes initiative with the children and household duties. Like finding fun craft projects to do with the children and helping them reach their learning milestones; and figuring out household projects or tasks to complete when there is downtime. Someone who is understanding that their schedules fluctuate from week to week and is able to accommodate that.
The family enjoys traveling, and often go to very fun places, so a candidate who also enjoys travel would be an ideal fit and welcomed addition.
Overview of a nanny's typical day:
Depending on the day of the week, the nanny would help with (G5 and B3) in the mornings with breakfast, feeding the dog and letting her out, getting (G5’s & B3’s) school lunch (prepared the night before), get (G5 and B3) ready for daycare. While Mom takes (G5 and B3) to school, the nanny would take care of various household tasks and tend to children’s laundry, toys etc.. The nanny will also assist with kitchen clean up, small house projects, running loads of laundry, grocery shopping, managing home appointments, family meal prep/cooking, and making snacks and/or dinner for (G5 and B3). Mom picks (G5 and B3) up from daycare mid to late afternoon, and then Nanny and (G5 and B3) can go outside and play, swim in the pool, or play inside. Nanny will give (G5 and B3) a bath and read books with each of them.
*Shorter days will vary with different tasks, but still be similar.
*Family requires candidates to have a current TDap. They do not require Covid Vaccine or the Flu Shot.
· $32 per hour for the first 40 hours and $48 per hour for the 10 hours of overtime each week

· Family would like a nanny that can commit to at least a year of employment. If a candidate is looking for a long term placement, please know this family plans to have a nanny in place for the next several years.
Care is needed Monday through Friday weekly; Saturdays needed by request.

Sat: Varies by month. Rarely needed.
Family would like a nanny who is flexible to come in later/stay later to help when Mom and Dad have an evening event or dinner to attend, and also to help on an occasional Saturday if needed. Schedule will be given with as much advance notice as possible.
~50 hours per week will be guaranteed for this availability.
**Family will also consider a 4 day work week where the schedule starts at 9:45am on TUES and THURS. This would provide a 3-day-weekend each week.
