ABOUT: You never really know what you’re walking into on a blind date - and you certainly don’t expect that it will lead you to find ‘the one,’ but that is exactly what happened when Mom and Dad were set up on a blind date by a mutual friends. From their very first meeting, both Mom and Dad recognized that they had found something quite special, and it was only a matter of time before they made it official. That was 8 years ago, and they haven’t looked back since.
Today, they are well established in their respective careers, and are the proud parents of two wonderful kiddos.
Their oldest, (G6), is a sweet, creative little girl who loves all things sparkly and can happily lose herself in a craft project for hours. Mom and Dad say she can be a little shy when meeting someone new, but she warms up quickly and soon becomes your biggest little sidekick, always excited to chat, play, or join you on a fun outing. (G6) will be starting Kindergarten this fall.
Her little brother, (B3), is an energetic and curious little guy who is happiest when he's exploring and discovering something new. He wakes up each morning excited to see what adventures the day will bring, makes the most of his mornings, and then recharges with a good afternoon nap. (B3) will begin preschool sometime in 2027.
Also sharing the home are the family's two beloved dogs—an energetic but gentle indoor Bernedoodle and an outdoor Labradoodle who enjoys having free run of the yard throughout the day.
Mom and Dad describe themselves as an active, outdoorsy family who loves spending time together. They believe children thrive with clear expectations, consistent routines, ageappropriate boundaries, and plenty of encouragement, and want their little ones to feel secure and supported while also learning responsibility, independence, good manners, and respect for others.
The family hired their first nanny through NOGH when their oldest was 3 months. Over the years, she has not only grown with the family, but started her own, and now Mom and Dad are looking for a new caregiver to join them during this next season of adventure.
The family's ideal candidate is:
Warm and Nurturing, Patient and Calm — Someone who will form a loving and trusting relationship with their children and ensure they always feel safe and supported.
Dependable and Responsible — Mom and Dad are looking for a partner who will work with them to make sure their home is running smoothly – especially as it pertains to the children and their daily activities and schedules. They prefer candidates who are punctual and reliable, organized, and who communicate clearly and follow through.
Active and Engaging — Someone who enjoys outdoor play, age-appropriate activities, and keeping the children active and involved.
Flexible: Someone who can gracefully pivot based on the needs of the day, and who is comfortable in an environment where parents work from home on occasion.
Aligned With Their Family Values — Someone who respects their Catholic faith, Conservative values, their approach to parenting, and household expectations.
Discreet — Privacy is deeply important to this family. Their ideal nanny is someone who honors confidentiality, maintains professional boundaries, and understands the significance of an NDA.
Excellent Driver - a nanny who is experienced and comfortable driving minors, and who has a clean driving record, is a must.
Above all, we hope to find someone who will partner with us, communicate openly, and provide a loving, structured, and dependable presence for our children.”
Family prefers candidates who have an up to date TDap vaccine. Family does not require candidates to have received the Covid Vaccine, or annual Flu Shot.

This will also include keeping (B3) busy after his nap by getting him outside to play, or other indoor, engaging activities.
