About: Originally from the Midwest, Mom and Dad landed in Nashville six years ago, ready to build their lives, and their businesses, in Music City. Dad had just retired from the NBA to begin his Franchising career, while Mom decided to start her own unique Design and Renovation business. Flash forward to today and their businesses are thriving and keeping them busy in all the best ways.
When not working, this active couple enjoys spending time outside — whether that’s going on long walks or relaxing on their porch, soaking in the good weather. They often travel back to Minnesota and Ohio to visit family, and they describe themselves as homebodies who still love staying connected to their roots.
Together the couple has 1 little boy, (B1), who turned one in December and is just the sweetest little guy. He’s somewhat shy at first, but once he warms up, he loves inviting you into his world. He’s an independent player who enjoys having someone nearby, and he absolutely lights up during story time. He’s in the early stages of walking - cautiously taking his first few steps - with Mom and Dad’s steady encouragement as his biggest fans. He’s also an independent sleeper who goes down for a nap without a fuss and often wakes up quietly, happily hanging out in his crib. He’s beginning to explore language with “mama,” “dada,” and “woof,” and Mom and Dad laugh that “dada” is definitely the favorite right now. (B1) is home full time.
Also in the home is the family’s 10‑pound hypoallergenic pup, who is very sweet, and typically stays close to Mom throughout the day.

Experienced in early learning: Background in teaching, early education, or language development is strongly preferred, as this is such an important stage for his growth.
Proactive with tidiness: Takes initiative in keeping (B1)’s play spaces tidy, putting toys away, and cleaning up snack and lunch dishes without needing direction.
Thoughtful about activities: Notices toys, books, or activities (B1) might enjoy and shares those ideas with Mom and Dad to support his development and curiosity.
Clear, reliable communicator: Values open communication and keeps the family informed, especially regarding scheduling needs, with as much notice as possible.
Overview of nanny's typical work day:
Nanny arrives: 9am
A typical day will include playing with (B1) in their choice of activities, feeding him lunch and snacks, diaper changes, and getting him down for a nap.
End of Day: 1pm

· This position requires a nanny to be able to commit to at least a year of employment. If you are looking for a long-term position, please take this position into consideration as they plan on employing a nanny for the next several years.
Care is needed Monday through Thursday
9am – 1pm
~16 hours per week
*It would be ideal if a nanny were also open to work an occasional Friday, if Mom or Dad have a work conflict arise and care is needed.
