Overview: Warm and Engaged Full Time Nanny needed for Family of Four in Green Hills
Mom and Dad met by chance in upstate New York in a town called Woodstock — a place so special to them that they named their Golden Doodle after it. After living together in New York, they moved to Los Angeles when Mom began law school at UCLA. After living on the West Coast for the past 10 years, the family is packing up and moving to Nashville to start their next adventure together.
For their careers, Dad works in the Music Industry and Mom is a practicing Attorney, and both work hybrid roles that have them working from home a few days per week.
Together the couple has two children.
Their oldest, (G2.5), is 2½ years old, and is so much fun! She eagerly wants to learn, play, and laugh, spending her days singing songs, helping with chores, and turning everything into a joyful activity. Mom and Dad love the curiosity and lightheartedness she brings to the home, and they are delighted by her spirit each and every day.
Her little brother, (B4mos), is 4 months old and as sweet as he can be. He is calm, easygoing, and already adored by his big sister.
Both (G2.5) and (B4mos) will be home full time.
Mom and Dad describe themselves as fun, relaxed, and deeply present with their children. They enjoy teaching and guiding, but also value giving their kids space to explore and learn independently. Their approach is gentle, communicative, and calm — they don’t raise their voices and instead model patience and kindness in everything they do. With (B4mos) being so young, they place importance on exposure at an ageappropriate pace, preferring to ease him into group activities gradually while keeping things simple and supportive for both children.
The family's ideal candidate is:
Communicative: Someone who values open dialogue and keeps the family on the same page about schedules, routines, and daily needs.
Kind & Warm: A nurturing presence who leads, with love and approaches the children with gentleness and patience.
Engaging: Someone who loves to play, teach, and interact with the children, and who brings creativity and positive energy into the home.
Flexible: A nanny who can adapt as the children grow and shift, while maintaining a relaxed, supportive approach.
Comfortable taking direction: Someone confident in leading day-to-day care but receptive to specific requests, viewing the role as a true partnership.
And because a nanny may be Driving the children, someone who is experienced and comfortable driving minors, and who has a clean driving record, is a must.
Family requires candidates to have an Up To Date Tdap and Flu Shot. Up To Date Covid is preferred, but not required.
Overview of nanny's typical work day:

(G2.5) will have had breakfast and (B4mos) will be on his feeding schedule.
