About:
Dad is originally from the Atlanta, GA area and graduated from Georgia Southern University. He has since built a life and career shaped by a variety of places and experiences. He spent seven years living in Chicago, IL before moving to Nashville in 2017 to serve as an executive for a nationally recognized design and construction company where he’s proud to help lead work that makes a lasting impact. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, hunting, and spending time with the people and pursuits that matter the most to him. He’s also deeply passionate about the Georgia Bulldogs and proud them on with his sons every Saturday in the fall.
Mom is originally from Minneapolis, MN. She graduated from Miami University (in Ohio) before moving to Chicago, where she met Dad. They dated for four years before getting married in 2015, and together have built a life centered around family and shared adventures.
After moving to Nashville, they welcomed their first son in 2020, second son in 2023, and recently added a third son in February. After having their second son, she made the decision to step away from her career to focus on young children.
With the recent addition of their third son, she’s looking for an extra pair of hands to help balance out the beautiful whirlwind of life with three young boys.
Their oldest son (B6) is 6 years old and is smart, determined, curious, and sweet. He fiercely loves his two younger brothers, building with Legos, playing sports, making inventions, solving puzzles, and fishing. He goes to school five days a week from 8:00 to 3:00 and will also have some after-school activities, including sports practices and enrichment programs.
Their middle son (B3) is almost 3 and keeps his parents on their toes with his big personality and strong independence, while also being loving and adventurous. He looks up to his older brother and adores his younger brother. He enjoys playing outside, riding his "big bike" and tractor, and playing with anything that has wheels. He will be going to school five days a week from 8:00 to 3:00.
Their youngest son (B6mos) is a calm and sweet baby who goes with the flow of a busy life with older brothers. He goes with the flow and is a huge mama’s boy!
Also in the home is the family’s 80pound yellow lab who is very sweet and keeps their two oldest sons on their toes.
Mom and Dad describe their family as busy but balanced. They work hard to strike the right balance of family time, being social with friends, and work hard to make time for themselves and their marriage. Their boys are - and will always be - their top priority and they describe their parenting style as structured and nurturing while ensuring they instill good values in their children. They foster independence, but work hard to establish clear boundaries and expectations with them.
The Family’s Ideal Candidate Is:
Honest and Transparent: Someone who is interested in forming a foundation of trust, and who will partner well with Mom and Dad (especially mom as she is home more). Strong communication skills.
Nurturing: Someone who loves children of all ages and has an avid interest in helping them grow and develop.
Proactive: Someone that seeks to solve “problems” or is proactive in looking for additional ways they can help in the home or with the children. Also proactive in communication.
Organized: Someone who likes Organization, especially as it pertains to the children and their belongings. Mom would be very pleased to find a nanny who will walk alongside her and make sure things are reset and back in place each day, and who can also encourage and direct the children to do the same.
Open to Travel: This family enjoys taking 1 to 2 vacations per year, and
and would love to find a nanny who would like to come along. This is not an absolute requirement.
Reliable and Punctual: Someone who will be at work on time and also attentive to the boys schedules.
Also, as there will be Driving involved, a nanny who is experienced and comfortable driving minors, and who has a clean driving record, is a must.
The family requires candidates to have a current TDap. They prefer, but do not require, candidates to have a recent Flu Shot. They do not require candidates to have received the Covid Vaccine.
