Mom and Dad’s courtship was a season marked by patience and understanding — a slow, meaningful unfolding that carried them through the demanding years of surgical training, supported a crosscountry move to Nashville, and now steadies them as they embrace their newest adventure as parents to a sweet baby girl they welcomed into the world this April. 

Mom and Dad say their little one, (G4mos), is a bright, alert and very happy baby who loves being engaged with, and at just 4 months, has already developed quite a personality! Their home is the perfect canvas for her to express herself, and she keeps them laughing most days. Her current favorite things to do are ‘talking’ to her parents, going on walks and people watching!
Mom and Dad best describe themselves as a blend of laidback and orderly — easygoing by nature, yet learning that a little more structure helps keep life feeling calm and connected now that they’re balancing two demanding careers and a young baby. They believe in working smarter, not harder, and are intentionally building a home where their daughter feels deeply loved, supported, and gently guided as she grows.

The Role Within Their Home
With busy and sometimes unpredictable schedules, Mom and Dad are seeking a Full Time nanny that can work 50 hours per week, and who is willing and able to stay later by a half hour/1 hour when needed. They are hoping to find one nanny to fill this role, but are also considering a (4) day per week role/40 hours per week, and supplementing (1) day with an additional caregiver. 

 The family's ideal candidate is:

Loving/Nurturing —Someone who is a trusted and valued part of their family, and who develops a close and loving relationship with their daughter as she grows.
Proactive — Someone who is attentive and proactive, and genuinely present with (G4mos) throughout the day — playing, reading, going on walks, getting outside when appropriate, and helping her learn and explore.
Reliable/Accountable —Someone who is able to take ownership of (G4mos)’s daytoday routine, and provide safe, attentive, and engaging care for her.
Flexible — Someone who is flexible to work with two busy, and sometimes unpredictable, surgical schedules.
Good Communicator —Mom and Dad are hoping for a nanny who keeps them informed, collaborates respectfully, and feels comfortable sharing updates with them throughout the day.
Pets: The family’s two greyhounds are very much a part of their home and heart. These pups enjoy daily walks with their dogwalker, and being around their ‘people’ whenever possible. A nanny who is pet friendly would be an ideal fit for this household.
Excellent Driver – The family would like a nanny to plan age- appropriate activities and outings when appropriate, rather than spending the day primarily at home, therefore a nanny who is experienced and comfortable driving minors, and who has a clean driving record, is a must.

Family does require candidates to have a current Tdap and annual Flu Shot.




Overview of a potential work day:

7:00 AM – Nanny arrives
Nanny’s day will consist of full care for (G4mos) and following her age-appropriate routine. This includes getting her ready for the day, following her feeding schedule, playing and interacting with her, reading, and getting her outside for walks or other activities when weather permits. 
During the baby’s naps, the family expects a nanny to take a break herself, and also help with light housekeeping tasks including the baby’s laundry, baby’s dishes and tidying her play areas.
5:00 PM – End of Day

·   Family would like a nanny that can commit to at least a year of employment.  If a candidate is looking for a long term placement, please know this family plans to have a nanny in place for the next several years.
