Overview: Fun and lively Nashville couple are looking for a full time Nanny/Family Assistant for their 2 children, ages 7 and 3.
Both Mom and Dad are Attorneys with very busy schedules. Dad works for a small firm downtown and Mom works for a Federal Judge. While Dad is out of the home full time, Mom works from home occasionally from a designated work space. When not working, they enjoy traveling, cooking and spending quality time outdoors.
As Nashville Natives Mom and Dad are excited to be able to raise their children with lots of family and friends nearby. In fact, they live only 9 houses down from Dad’s childhood home, and where Grandma continues to live! With family that close, there is always a chance for someone to drop by or pop in for a quick visit. The family has had a full time nanny for the past 3 years, but sadly she is moving on, and now they are in search of a new person to join in on the fun!
Their oldest, (G7), is lively, active and cracks herself (and her family) up all the time! She loves ice skating, gymnastics, swimming, music, reading, and playing both inside and outside. (G7) attends University School of Nashville Monday through Friday 7:55 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. She will need care before school (2-3 days a week) and after school and full time on school holidays.
Her little sister, (G3), is a very independent little girl who also loves gymnastics, music, dance, and is currently in swim and ice skating lessons. She has big feelings and is quite fearless. She loves to try to do everything her big sister and parents are doing so be ready for a little helper with tasks! (G3) attends a nearby Montessori School Monday through Friday 8:15 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. She will need care before school (2-3 days a week) and after school and full time on school holidays.
The family’s ideal candidate is reliable, trustworthy, fun and caring, and who enjoys spending time with their children and making the family function smoothly. Someone who will follow the family’s general routine, but can also be flexible at times when needed. The nanny will be responsible for pick-ups and drop offs of both girls and family related errands, they need a candidate that is comfortable and experienced driving children.
****Family IS requiring candidates to have received the Covid vaccine and boosters, Tdap and Flu Shot, unless medically exempt.
Overview of a nanny’s typical day:
7:00 am: Nanny arrives - Time for breakfast clean up and getting ready for the day!
7:15 am: (G7) leaves for school with Mom or Dad
8:15 am: (G3) gets dropped off at school
8:30 am - 2:15 p.m.: Nanny pivots to role of Family Assistant
Family Assistant Role can consist of:
* Managing/Maintaining Family Calendar & Establishing Reminders for Parents for important items/dates/events
General Organization of kid’s closets, rooms, and toys
Children's Laundry / Linens
Grocery Shopping / Other Errands
Tidying Kitchen, common areas and play spaces
Light Meal Prep / Planning Healthy Weekly Meals
Vendor research as needed
Engaging with Cleaning/Maintenance Personnel
Maintaining lists of Household Items Needed
2:30 pm -3 :15 pm: (G7) and (G3) pick up and care for both children until the end of the work day.
This can include taking either girl for an afterschool activity.
6:00 pm: End of Day
· $25 - 30 per hour
· Overtime paid for all hours worked over 40

· Family would like to have someone start by January 19, 2026.
