Overview: Loving, Dependable and Flexible nanny needed for infant in East.
About: Although Mom and Dad are both Nashville Natives, it was a chance meeting while in Law School at UTK that brought them together, and the rest, you can say, is history. Flash forward to today, and the couple has been married for nearly twelve years, and have returned to their home town to build a warm and steady life surrounded by family and long time friends.
For their careers, both Mom and Dad are practicing attorneys — Mom owns her own firm representing employees in discrimination and harassment cases, and Dad is a partner at local firm, practicing general civil litigation. Both parents work outside of the home full time.
Outside of work, they enjoy spending time with family and friends (with both Dad and Mom being Nashville natives, they’ve got a big network here). Dad also enjoys music and concerts, and Mom is a big movie buff. And while they love going out to eat to new restaurants, they equally love their local neighborhood spots -especially Mar y Tierra Mexican Restaurant on Trinity Lane.
Mom and Dad will be welcoming their first child this spring, a baby boy, (BNB), who is due late April. As first-time parents, they have not yet landed on a parenting style, but plan to raise their little guy to be a responsible and empathetic young man. (BNB) will be home full time.
The family's ideal candidate is:
Kind and Loving: Someone who is warm and loving, and who genuinely cares for their sweet baby boy.
Responsible and Dependable: Someone who will be at work on time and also attentive to their son’s schedule.
Easy Going: This is an approachable and easy-going family who hopes to find an equally spirited nanny who will blend in with the happy and relaxed atmosphere of their home.
Highly Engaged: Someone who takes initiative, and comes up with new play ideas, learning activities and outings with other children.
Flexible – Although Mom and Dad will typically keep daytime hours, they would like a nanny who is open and available to work later on days that they may have to work late due to trial or deposition.
And because Driving may be part of a nanny’s job description, candidates who are experienced and comfortable driving minors, and who have a clean driving record, are a must.
Family prefers, but does not 100% require candidates to have a current Covid Vaccine, Tdap and Flu Shot.
Overview of nanny's typical work day:
8 AM - 9 AM– Nanny arrives
Nanny’s day will consist of full care for (BNB). This includes diaper changes, feedings, tummy time, naps, playtime and outdoor time, weather permitting.
During the baby’s naps, the family would like help with light housekeeping tasks including the baby’s laundry, baby’s dishes and keeping her nursery stocked and tidy.
5 PM / 6 PM: End of Day
End of Day: 5 pm
· $25 - $30 per hour
