Overview: Warm, Values‑Driven Nashville Family Seeking a Loving and Nurturing Nanny for Their Infant Daughter

About: Mom and Dad’s story began in Oregon, where they both grew up before eventually making their way to Nashville. Dad works as a Senior Project Manager for a construction company, and Mom is a Nurse Manager of a Surgical Department at a local hospital. Their lives are full, meaningful, and rooted in purpose — both professionally and personally.

Outside of work, they love spending time together and staying connected to the things that bring them joy. They enjoy taking walks, trying new restaurants (especially Mexican ones), playing with their three dogs, and spending time with their extended family here in Nashville.

In late October they welcomed their first child, (GNB), and Mom and Dad couldn’t be happier. (GNB) is in a season of discovery — learning to use her voice, kick her feet, and make new faces. She loves to be rocked, look at her contrast cards, and bounce in her bouncer. She is expressive, curious, and already showing the sweet, engaging personality her parents adore.

As a family, Mom and Dad describe themselves as close‑knit, values‑driven, and intentional. Their home is rooted in traditional Christian values and built on love, respect, responsibility, and strong family connection. They believe children thrive when they feel safe, secure, and deeply loved, and they work to create a home environment that is calm, supportive, and consistent.

Their parenting style is responsive and nurturing without being permissive. They do not use the “cry‑it‑out” method; instead, they prioritize meeting their daughter’s needs promptly and thoughtfully. They value balance — warmth and empathy paired with clear boundaries, age‑appropriate expectations, and consistency.

The Family’s Ideal Candidate Is:

Experienced: Someone knowledgeable about child development, safety, and age‑appropriate care, and who has the confidence to make sound decisions throughout the day.

Trustworthy: Someone they can fully trust in their home and with their daughter.

Calm and Patient: Someone who remains steady, composed, and grounded, even during challenging or unpredictable moments. They appreciate a nanny who brings a soothing presence, adapts as routines evolve, and supports their daughter with warmth, emotional attunement, and thoughtful responsiveness.

Consistent and Dependable: Because both parents hold leadership positions and cannot easily adjust to unexpected changes, they value a nanny who arrives on time, and brings reliability, steadiness, and follow‑through to the role.

A Good Communicator: Mom and Dad appreciate a nanny who keeps them informed with daily updates, collaborates openly, and aligns with their preference for narrating the day and using intentional, respectful language in the home.

Respectful: Someone who honors their parenting style, routines, and values, and who will partner with them to provide the best care for their daughter.

Family does not require candidates to have received the Covid Vaccine. They prefer candidates that have a current Tdap and Flu Shot.
