Overview: Warm and inviting family of 3 looking for a full time Nanny / Family Assistant to join their team.
Both Mom and Dad are business owners who have flexible but demanding schedules, with work hours that vary from day to day. For their careers, Dad owns and operates a private Investment Firm and Mom owns and operates an Indoor Playground near the family’s second home in Cornersville. Owning their own businesses requires a lot of time and attention, and often calls for last minute appointments and schedule changes, and although they are as hands on as possible, Mom and Dad recognize that it can take an extra pair of hands to keep their family life running smoothly.
Together the couple has one child, (B6), an adventurous, energetic and imaginative little guy, who enjoys swimming, biking, fishing and all outdoor activities. (B6) is currently in Kindergarten full time and will be headed to 1st grade at Ensworth this fall.
Also in the family home are their 2 dogs, a Shih Tzu and Black Lab, who are very outgoing and friendly.
(B6) has been in the care of the same nanny for the past several years. Mom and Dad say she has been a great ft for (B6), as she is a big kid herself, who loves Nerf wars and making campfires at night. Sadly, the time has come for her to return to her home state of Florida, so they are now looking for a new Nanny to fill her role.

Loving and Nurturing: Someone who is warm, compassionate and genuinely attentive to the emotional and physical needs of (B6), and who will build a trusting relationship with him.
Energetic and Engaged: (B6) loves to explore The Ranch, play and have fun, so someone who is lively, enthusiastic, and always ready to match his energy is needed.
Creative: Someone who brings creativity and excitement to his daily routines.
Organized and Reliable: Mom and Dad place a high level of importance on their son’s education and his social interactions with other children. Their ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and who will partner well with them in supervising (B6)’s schedule.
Available for Travel, In Town Overnights, and Overnights at The Ranch: Mom and Dad like to host friends and family at The Ranch most weekends, so they need a caregiver who is willing to join them there to supervise and entertain (B6) when needed, and also help keep him on his regular meal and bedtime routine. A separate and private cabin is available for a nanny to stay in if she prefers to not drive back to Nashville. Also, Mom and Dad would love to find an adventurous nanny who has experience traveling with a family, and who would like to come along on trips with them, both domestically and internationally, all expenses paid. For trips that are adult only, they would like a nanny that can stay with (B6) in Nashville while the parents are out of town. Nanny will have her own bedroom and bath at the family home.
A Good Communicator: Although flexibility is needed, the family understands that a nanny has a life outside of work and is very respectful of that. They want someone who can effectively communicate their need for time off, so it can be planned around accordingly.
Strong Swimmer: Understanding there are swimming pools at both homes, the family will only consider nanny candidates who are strong swimmers.
Also, as there will be Driving involved, a nanny comfortable driving minors, and who has a clean driving record, is a must.
Family does not require candidates to have received the Covid Vaccine or Flu Shot.

Overview of nanny's typical work day during the week:
1 PM - Nanny Arrives
Nanny will tend to the family dogs, tidy up from breakfast, and any Family Assistant Needs (grocery shopping/package returns/errands, etc.) for the day.
2 PM – Nanny leaves to pick up (B6) from School. Afternoon will consist of taking him to activities or sports practices, and then home to supervise homework and Chef Prepared dinner. Nanny is invited to join (B6) for dinner if she would like!
6:30 PM - End of Day
Saturday and Sunday hours at The Ranch will vary, depending on what is planned for that weekend.
Summer schedule will be similar to the school schedule, as (B6) will have camps for several weeks, but there will also be more time at The Ranch as well.

30 - 40 Hours Per Week Guaranteed
2:30pm – 6:30pm
A typical week will include weekend hours at The Ranch.
Nanny will have (2) days off each week, typically Mondays and Tuesdays.
*It is important to note that nannies will often get a weekend day off, but for planning purposes, the family would like perspective candidates to know that there will be weekends where both Saturday and Sunday are needed.
· ASAP – Although the family would like a nanny in place As Soon As Possible, they are patient and happy to wait for the right person.
