*This family does plan to relocate to Brentwood, or a nearby suburb, sometime in the future, but is only casually looking at homes at this point.

Overview: Down to earth family of 3 are looking for an experienced and flexible nanny for their sweet baby girl.

Originally from Brookfield, Wisconsin, Mom attended UW-Madison, and graduated with both Political Science and International Studies degrees. Following graduation, she moved to Washington D.C. to work in the U.S. House of Representatives, and was immediately captivated by the history and energy of the city.

Dad is a native of Huntington Beach, California, and attended the U.S. Air Force Academy before earning his pilot’s wings. He served our country for 12 years, both domestically and overseas, before being stationed in Washington, D.C.

It was there in our nation’s capital that, through mutual work acquaintances, these 2 met on a blind date, and the rest you can say, is history.

Flash forward to today, and after years of managing the hustle and bustle of D.C. life, Mom and Dad took a leap of faith and relocated to Nashville for a change of pace. Dad, now separated from the Air Force, flies international routes for UPS and is often gone for 10 – 14 day stretches at a time in Europe or Asia. After maternity leave, Mom will return to work as a Federal Lobbyist, and although she will work primarily from her home office, she will likely need to travel several times a year to support her clients as well.

In their spare time, this sweet couple enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, pickleball, and grilling with friends.

In April of this year, Mom and Dad welcomed their first child, a baby girl (GNB), and say from the moment she arrived, they discovered a love deeper than they had ever known. Their home now echoes with the tender coos and cries of a newborn, and they constantly marvel at her slender fingers, kissable cheeks, and growing rolls. (GNB) will be home full time.

Currently there are no pets in the home.

Mom and Dad consider their relationship to be a healthy balance between Dad’s spontaneity and Mom’s thirst for routine and structure. As a new family of three, they don’t have a specific parenting style in place just yet, but know their home will be one that fosters love, faith, and curiosity, and prioritizes time together for connecting on a deeper level.

The family's ideal candidate is:

Experienced and nurturing: Someone who will provide a nurturing environment that will support their daughter’s physical, and emotional, growth and development, and help raise her to be a kind and thoughtful young lady.

Trustworthy and Confidential: Someone who is reliable and honest, and who will keep their daughter’s safety, health and well-being as their top priority. Mom and Dad want to trust that their nanny understands the boundaries between personal and professional spaces, and will have respect for their family’s privacy.

A Good Communicator: Mom and Dad feel that communication is at the heart of fostering a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for their little girl. They always want to be on the same page as their nanny, and be able to openly discuss (GNB), her needs and development, and know that their nanny will be open to feedback when appropriate.

Adaptable: Understanding that life with an infant can be unpredictable, Mom and Dad would like a nanny who can react and adjust to changes without stress, while ensuring the baby’s routine is maintained as much as possible.

Also, as there is the potential that Driving will be involved, a nanny who is experienced and comfortable driving minors, and who has a clean driving record, is a must.

Family does not require candidates to have received the Covid Vaccine. Family prefers, but does not 100% require candidates to have a current Flu Shot.
