Overview: Experienced and nurturing Nanny needed for Nanny Share in Brentwood.

About: The two Moms of this Nanny Share are long-time friends who grew up in Middle Tennessee and have remained closely connected for more than fifteen years. As Nashville natives, they share a deep commitment to family, communication, and kindness. This season has been especially meaningful for them, as they found themselves expecting baby girls just weeks apart, and they are now excited to begin the search for a nurturing nanny to support both families during this sweet chapter of their lives.

Family (a) will be welcoming their first child, (GNB), and Family (b) is welcoming their third (GNB), who will join her two big brothers, (B6) and (B3).

(NB) and (GNB) will be home full time.
(B6) and (B3) are both in school full time.

Both families share a calm, values‑driven approach to parenting and place a strong emphasis on open, respectful communication. They are aligned in their desire to create a warm, predictable environment where their little ones feel secure, supported, and deeply cared for. They appreciate collaboration, welcome thoughtful feedback, and hope to build a steady, trusting partnership with the nanny who joins them in this season.

The ideal candidate for this Nanny Share is:

Deeply experienced in newborn care, bringing calm confidence and a strong understanding of infant development, safety, and daily rhythms.

Warm, nurturing, and attuned, someone who responds to little ones with gentleness, patience, and steady emotional presence.

Reliable, punctual, and professional, approaching this nanny‑share with the same level of commitment and consistency the families bring to the partnership.

An excellent communicator, comfortable offering updates, asking questions, and maintaining open, respectful dialogue with both households.

Collaborative and receptive to feedback, someone who values teamwork and is eager to build a trusting, long‑term relationship with the families.

Confident caring for two infants at once, able to balance their needs with ease, attentiveness, and thoughtful organization.

Comfortable around dogs, as both homes include friendly, well‑managed pets.

These families do NOT require candidates to have received the Covid Vaccine. They prefer but do not require candidates to have an up to date Tdap and Flu Shot.

Overview of a nanny’s typical day:

*8 AM - NANNY ARRIVES - Care will take place primarily at the home of Family (b) in Brentwood.

It is important to note that Mom (b) works in schools, so during school breaks, care would be provided for only one baby at the home of Family (a) in the Cane Ridge/South Nashville area.

A typical day in this nanny‑share begins with a warm arrival and a smooth transition into the morning rhythm with both baby girls. The nanny will prepare and offer bottles as needed, tend to diapering and comfort, and ease the infants into their first nap window of the day. As the morning unfolds, she’ll support age‑appropriate developmental play — tummy time, gentle interaction, visual engagement — and, when weather allows, enjoy slow neighborhood walks with the double stroller.

Midday brings another round of bottles, soothing, and naps, with the nanny maintaining a calm, predictable flow that helps both little ones feel secure. Throughout the afternoon, she’ll continue to balance feeding, rest, and play, keeping infant areas tidy, washing and sanitizing bottles, and managing light baby‑related laundry as needed.

As the day winds down, Mom of Family (b) typically returns home around 3:30 PM, and the nanny will continue caring for the babies until Mom of family (a) finishes work around 5:00 PM. Before wrapping up, she’ll share thoughtful updates with both families — noting feedings, naps, diapers, and anything meaningful from the day — ensuring everyone feels informed, supported, and connected.
