Overview: Fun Loving and Active Nanny needed for Family of 4 in Nashville.

Mom is a Nashville native who has lived in the same 8 mile radius her entire life! Dad moved to Nashville for college, and the two met after graduate school at a workout class. They got married during the height of Covid, and quickly got to work starting a family. For their careers, Mom is the Director of Finance for a local pharmaceutical company, working from home a few days a week, and Dad owns a custom home building business, that has him out of the house most days.

Together the couple has two energetic little boys that keep them on their toes and laughing every day.

Their oldest (B4) is their sweet, thoughtful soul. He’s loving, observant, smart and a little shy – the kind of kid who will warm up to you quickly with the right mix of patience and play. His little brother (B3) is their little firecracker – confident, loud, hilarious, and extremely kind hearted. He has never met a stranger. Together, they are ‘best buds’ who love all things with wheels, outdoor play and dirt. Whether they are ‘helping’ in the garden, or riding their mini tractors up and down their dead-end street, they are happiest outside with fresh air, sunshine and a lot of sticks.
Both boys go to MDO from 9am – 1:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Also in the home is the family’s very sweet, 8 year old Yellow Lab named Remi, who spends most of her day in the back yard, or cleaning up the floor after the boys eat.

Mom and Dad are firm but loving parents who thrive on routine and value consistency in their home. They are a faith-driven family, whose Christian beliefs play a central role in their daily lives and how they raise their children. They strive to instill values such as kindness, honesty, compassion and gratitude, and aim to create a home filled with love, respect and purpose.

They have had the same wonderful nanny for 4 years, but she is now moving on to a different role.

If you are a nanny who loves kids, values kindness, and doesn’t mind a little mud, this is the job for you!

 The family's ideal candidate is:

Trustworthy and Reliable: Mom and Dad see a nanny as an important and trusted part of their family’s support system. Someone who can provide loving, attentive care for their boys, while respecting and reinforcing the values and routines they have established at home.

Protective: Someone who creates a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment – not just supervising, but actively connecting, teaching, and helping their boys learn and grow.

A Good Communicator: while Mom and Dad are the primary decisionmakers, they value a nanny who will bring her own experience, ideas and insights to the role to create a collaborative relationship built on open communication, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to what is best for their children.

Energetic and Engaged: The family home sits on 2 acres and the boys love to play outside and explore, so a nanny with a fun and adventurous spirit would be a great fit.

Driving will not be needed initially, but may be part of the job description in the future.

*Family does not require candidates to have received the Covid vaccine, Flu Shot or TDap.
