Mom and Dad met at a restaurant in downtown Nashville 6 years ago and have been inseparable ever since!
For their careers, Mom is CEO and Founder of a very large Digital Media company and works from an office separated from the house but on the same property. Dad, a Nashville native, is CEO and Founder of a leading Production Company, and is often 'on set' when working on his projects. Both Mom and Dad have demanding work schedules that often require travel.
When not working this artistic Mom enjoys painting in her studio, while Dad likes to head to the gym or fire up the grill for family and friends.
Together the couple has two children.
Their oldest, (B2) is a sweet little guy who turned 2 on November 1st. He is a very happy toddler who is a total extrovert, and very curious about the world around him. With two creative parents it is no wonder he loves music and singing, and dancing when he eats! He loves trains and the zoo. He will be attending preschool 9:00 – 2:30 on MWF this fall.
Their youngest little one, (G10mos), is a joyful, happy soul who lights up the room with her smile. She loves to sing, watch her big brother play with his trains, and happily goes with the flow of her busy family. She's wonderfully expressive and very easy to "read," making it clear when she's tired, hungry, or ready for a change of pace. She's content, curious, and quickly growing into her own little rhythm, and Mom and Dad know she'll be on the move before long. (G10mos) is home full time.
There are currently no pets in the home.
Mom and Dad consider their parenting style to be a balancing act between providing their children with structure and guidance, while also allowing them to explore the world at their own pace. They believe in fostering his development through play and hands-on experiences, and encourage activities that nurture his creativity, communication and curiosity.
The family’s ideal candidate is proactive, patient, independent and nurturing. The candidate should be an active nanny prepared with activities, plans and a schedule, including leaving the house with the kids for occasional adventures (park, museum, etc).
Nannies with teaching or Montessori experience would be a great fit for this family.
Family prefers, but does not 100% require candidates to have received the Covid vaccine and Tdap. Family does not require candidates to have received the Flu Shot.

The family would like a nanny that can commit to at least 6 months of employment, with the possibility of extending employment from there.
One half-day on either Saturday or Sunday
(4 to 6 hours between 12 Noon and 6:00 pm)
Two to three weekdays per week, typically from 2:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Backup care for two to three consecutive days when our full-time nanny is on PTO or when both parents are traveling. This typically comes up once or twice a month and would be scheduled in advance.
