Overview: Caring and Responsible nanny needed for newborn in EAST.
Mom and Dad met in 2015 while attending the University of Tennessee. After graduating in 2016, Mom began working for her Family Business, and continues to be heavily involved in its daily operations. Dad, who was originally from Central Illinois, began his career in Wealth Management after graduation, and with nearly a decade in the field, continues to advise his dedicated client base.
Both Mom and Dad work hybrid roles, splitting their time between working from home and going into the office.
During their free time, the couple loves to travel, and spend time with family and friends. They also enjoy getting outdoors and going on walks with their dogs. Fun fact – In 2019, they lived in an RV for 13 months and visited every National Park in all of the lower 48 states!
Mom and Dad welcomed their first child, a baby girl (GNB), late March 2025. They say she is a truly wonderful baby who loves to be kissed and snuggled, is eating well and settling in nicely to a routine. (GNB) will be home full time.
Also in the home are the family’s 2 hypo-allergenic dogs that are Newfoundland Poodle Mixes. They are truly gentle giants – big, fluffy and as sweet as they can be. The pups usually travel with Mom to work when she goes in to the office. They are unbothered by the other furry resident of the home, Miss Fuddy, the family cat who loves being outside, especially in the warmer months.
Mom and Dad consider themselves to be easy-going and laid back, and like to keep their house tidy, clean and organized. As first time parents, they haven’t landed on a parenting style just yet, but they do plan to have her on a schedule, and be flexible when needed.
The family’s ideal candidate is caring, experienced, reliable, and responsible. Someone who will provide excellent and trusted care to their sweet baby girl, while also contributing to creating a positive and nurturing environment for her. They hope to find a nanny who is active and enjoys spending time outdoors, and is comfortable taking (GNB) on outings that will foster her curiosity, and expose her to the world around her. Candidates who are experienced and confident transporting children are a plus.

Overview of nanny's typical day:
8 am – Nanny arrives
The family plans to follow a schedule for their little girl.
Typical day will consist of diaper changes, feedings, tummy time, naps, playtime and outdoor time, weather permitting.
During the baby’s naps, the family would like help with light housekeeping tasks including the baby’s laundry, baby’s dishes and keeping her nursery stocked and tidy.
4 pm – End of Day
· $25 - $30 per hour

· This position requests a nanny that can commit to at least a year of employment, with the possibility of extending from there.
