Overview: Warm and Engaged Full Time Nanny needed for newborn in Belle Meade.
About: It was a thoughtful prompt by a mutual acquaintance that led to the introduction of Mom and Dad while they were both in the throes of medical training. The introduction turned into meaningful conversation, and a quick recognition of shared goals for the future. Flash forward to today, and the couple is happily married and are proud first-time parents of a sweet baby boy.
For their careers, Mom will begin a neurology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center this summer, and Dad is a retina specialist at Tennessee Retina. Both parents work outside of the home full time.
When not working, they enjoy being active, exploring all that Nashville has to offer, and of course, staying focused on family time.
Mom and Dad describe their son, (BNB), as a curious, observant, and generally happy baby, who is at a wonderfully engaging stage. They say he is very tuned in to his surroundings and steadily hitting his developmental milestones from finding his voice to starting to track everything they do. He loves interactive play, being read to and going on walks. (BNB) will be home full time.
Currently, there are no pets in the home.
Mom and Dad describe themselves as a stable, active family that values wellness, education, and clear communication. Outside of their demanding careers, they lead a relatively quiet life, centered around their son and maintaining a healthy, organized household.
They lean toward an intentional parenting style, minimizing unnecessary screen time or overstimulation, and instead focusing on meaningful interaction, outdoor time, and fostering early language and motor skills. Their approach is grounded, thoughtful, and developmentally aware, with an emphasis on creating a calm, nurturing environment where their son can thrive.
Mom and Dad envision their nanny as an educator and a guide during their son’s most formative months. Beyond basic care, they hope for someone who will actively contribute to his developmental growth and maintain the healthy lifestyle and structure they’ve established. They see their nanny as a vital partner in their parenting team, offering stability, warmth, and thoughtful engagement each day.
