Overview: Reliable and outgoing Nanny/House Manager needed to care for a very active 5 year old in East Nashville.

Mom and Dad co-parent their little guy, (B5), and split their time 50/50 between both homes. Dad’s home is in the Lockeland Springs area of East Nashville and (B5) attends Kindergarten at Lockeland Design Center, a short one block walk from Dad’s home.

Dad lives a very busy life, trying to manage full time work obligations, while also making time for exercise and fun. Dad is a real estate developer, restauranteur and cattle rancher, which means very full work days and some evening dinners entertaining investors.

His little guy, (B5), is an outgoing and precocious young man. He has the most curious mind and will keep you very busy during your time with him. He loves to play games in his attic, show off his evolving Minecraft world, and will wear himself out at the playground if you let him.
(B5) will be in school (5) days per week, from 8am to 3pm.

Dad is looking for a nanny who can pick up (B5) from school at 3pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays and every other Friday. The school is in walking distance from Dad’s home. (B5) is currently signed up for Tae Kwon Do on Thursdays, a five minute drive from school. He is also signed up Tennis at Shelby Community Center beginning in September. The expectation is that most afternoons he will have some activity to attend

As a single professional, Dad is managing a lot of responsibility at home and at work, so he would also like to find a Nanny that can do some light house management duties when his son is in school (primarily insuring all of his toys/clothes stay organized, keeping kitchen and playroom clean, and potentially helping with small errands like dry cleaning pickup, etc.

While nannying on the weekend would not be a regular occurrence, on occasion it could be helpful if a handful of the hours may be allocated to a Saturday. That would be on a special request basis only. Similarly, in the event Dad has an evening activity during the week, there may be some occasions where the Nanny is asked to stay through bedtime. This would be limited to only the days that (B5) is in school, to ensure Nanny is not asked to spend a full day and then night with (B5).

Dad and (B5) have a full grown Bernadoodle, whom is very lovable and basically thinks she is a human. With that said, she has quite a bit of energy so daily walks and time at the dog park is always appreciated and would be part of the responsibility list.

(B5) has had the same wonderful nanny for the past 3 years, but she is now shifting into the role of Full Time Mom, and so the family is now looking for a new nanny to fill her role.
