ABOUT:
Mom and Dad are best described as a closeknit, easygoing family who love spending time together, being creative, and making everyday life feel fun and meaningful. They met through a mutual friend in the music industry, and music has remained a big part of their relationship ever since. They both love listening to music, discovering new artists, and creating music together.
Dad works with Rocket Mortgage and is truly the best Dad. He is rarely seen during business hours, so when he’s not working, he loves spending time with the family, music, and soccer.
Mom spent most of her life in the music industry before taking a step back to pursue other passions and focus on family life. She now runs a small business part time while being a fulltime mom, and maintains her creative flow with art and design projects, gardening, and of course, music.
The couple is very fortunate that most of their extended family lives nearby, and they make it a priority to see each other/get together often to enjoy each other’s company and make memories as a family.
Together Mom and Dad have one child, (B2), and are incredibly excited to be growing into a family of four in April 2027.
(B2) is best described as an incredibly sweet, smart, curious, and joyful little boy who is truly a delight to be around. He’s very verbal and loves learning, asking questions, making people laugh, and taking in everything happening around him. He loves kicking a soccer ball around, playing with instruments, singing and dancing to music, exploring outdoors, and anything that keeps his little mind and body busy. He also loves spending time with his cousins, who are some of his favorite people and playmates!
Mom and Dad describe their home as relaxed, loving, creative, and very familycentered; a place where their little guy is free to learn and explore independently. They value the principles of the Montessori Method and believe that listening and providing a safe space for their toddler to express his emotions, equals a healthy, happy and confident child that has learned through experience.
As a family, they are intentional about using nontoxic, chemicalconscious products whenever possible. And although they love a home that feels calm and cared for, they still want it to be a place where littles can play, explore, create, and be children.
Although they have enjoyed the help of some very sweet caregivers to date, they are now ready to settle down with the right nanny long term; someone who will join them on their life’s adventure, who will make a special bond with their little guy and will grow alongside them as they begin this next chapter of their lives.
The Family’s Ideal Candidate is:
Proactive & Confident — Someone naturally proactive and comfortable taking the lead throughout the day. A nanny who notices what needs attention, plans ahead, and doesn’t require constant direction to create a fun, engaging day for (B2). Also, understanding that the family is expecting baby #2 next year, someone who is confident to care for 2 children at the same time once maternity and paternity leaves end summer 2027.
Creative & Genuinely Enjoys Engagement — A caregiver who shares the family’s love of creativity, and brings that same energy to her day – whether that’s playing outside, making art, listening to music, being silly, or finding new ageappropriate activities to keep him active and engaged. Someone who encourages natural curiosity and loves handson, imaginative play would be an excellent match.
A Strong Communicator — Clear, open communication is essential. They value a nanny who feels comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and having thoughtful, respectful conversations whenever something needs to be discussed.
Respectful of Family Values — It is important that a nanny understands and respects the environment and parenting style they have intentionally created that is screen free, and prioritizes handson play, outdoor time, a healthy lowtox lifestyle, a peaceful and clean space, and loving, intentional parenting.
Reliability, Trust & Kindness — Consistency and dependability matter deeply. They’re looking for someone responsible, patient, nurturing, and trustworthy—someone who genuinely enjoys caring for children and brings warmth into their home.
An Excellent Driver - a nanny who is experienced and comfortable driving minors, and who has a clean driving record, is a must.
Family does not require candidates to have received the Covid Vaccine, a current Tdap or annual Flu Shot.
Overview of nanny's typical work day:
Nanny arrives: 7:30 am
(B2) will still be sleeping, so a nanny will help get his breakfast together before waking him and getting him ready for the day’s adventures. Daytime will include daily activities, feeding him lunch, and getting him down for his afternoon nap.
During Naptime, the family would like a nanny to help with their little guy’s dishes, and general tidying/reset before the end of the day.
End of Day: 2:30 pm

· This position requires a nanny to be able to commit to at least a year of employment. If you are looking for a long-term position, please take this position into consideration as they plan on extending their family and employing a nanny for many years to come!
The family is looking for help 3 days per week.
7:30 am – 2:30 pm
~21 hours per week
Their preferred schedule is:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
OR
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
but they can be flexible on which days of the week a nanny works.
