Overview: Seeking Mischief Manager – Lighthearted and Playful Nanny Needed for a Home Built on Love, Curiosity, and Laughter.
About: This active and easygoing family recently settled in Tennessee after years of moving for work across Florida, South Carolina, and Texas. Both parents work in construction and share a love of exploring new places and trying new foods. Their careers keep them busy, but their greatest joy is spending time with their 21 month old son, who brings endless laughter and energy to their home.
Their little boy (B1) is full of personality — He loves exploring, climbing, and getting into everything as he discovers the world around him. He's curious, active, and always on the move, with a very silly side that keeps us laughing. While he can be a little shy and sensitive at first, once he's comfortable, he's incredibly playful, affectionate, and loves to make people smile. He enjoys reading books, playing outside, going on walks, visiting the park, dancing to music, and anything that lets him explore and learn.
The family describes themselves as laid-back and outdoorsy, with a parenting style that’s relaxed but attentive. They believe in giving their son space to explore and learn while keeping things lighthearted and fun.
They also share their home with a friendly, energetic five-year-old Labrador, so dog lovers are a must!
The family's ideal candidate is:
Reliable: Someone who is dependable and who will be at work on time
Kind, Patient and Playful: Someone who will create a safe, loving and stimulating environment for their little guy and is passionate about supporting his growth and development. Someone who is not afraid of getting down on the floor to play, helping him learn, and sharing in his silly, curious energy.
Trustworthy: Mom and Dad envision their nanny as an extension of their family: Someone who feels comfortable in their home, and who they can trust completely.
Genuine in their love for children: Someone who is warm, compassionate and genuinely attentive to the emotional and physical needs of (B1), and who will build a trusting relationship with him.
Comfortable with Parents working from home: Mom works from home most days, but does go into the office 1 – 2 days per week.
And because Driving will be needed for outings and activities, a nanny who is experienced and comfortable driving minors, and who has a clean driving record, is a must.
Family does NOT require candidates to have received the Covid Vaccine, Tdap or Flu Shot.
Daily Overview (Sample):
Nanny arrives: 8am
Daily activities include caring for (B1): playing, exploring and staying active. We like to get him out of the house most days. This includes: library story time, gymnastics class, art class and park visits.
Lunch before nap.
Naptime: 12 or 1pm (for 2-3 hours)
During Naptime, the family would like a nanny to help with their little guy’s dishes, laundry, lunch prep, and general tidying.
After nap, (B1) will be ready for snack and playtime.
End of Day: 4pm
2:00 PM – End of Day

· ASAP – The family is flexible and can hire ANYTIME between now and SEPTEMBER 1, 2026.
· This position requires a nanny to be able to commit to at least a year of employment. If you are looking for a long-term position, please take this position into consideration as they plan on employing a nanny for several years to come!
The family is flexible and can offer 32 – 40 hours per week of employment.
