Fun loving and attentive nanny needed for active family of 4 in Nashville.
Mom and Dad are a Nashville love story. They met in the summer of 2014 during a CMA event and married in 2018. For their careers, Mom is a Marketing Manager for a Merchandise Company for touring artists. Dad is originally from Arkansas and has been in music all his life, so Nashville was the perfect place to continue his career as a Musician.
Together the couple has two children. Both have been with nannies since birth, and Mom and Dad say they are both balls of energy who are growing closer as siblings every day.
Their oldest (G3.5) LOVES everything to do with art, reading books and hearing stories, and is an avid Tea Partier with an incredible imagination. She’s also an outdoor girl who enjoys riding her balance bike, playing tag, going to the park, climbing and exploring. She can be cautious at first, but once she feels confident in her surroundings, she is incredibly brave. And of course, she is the best big sister anyone could ask for!
Her little brother, (B1.5), is little in name only, as he is small, but mighty. He has no fear – and is quick to get along with the ‘big kids’ and play hard. He prefers to be outside any chance he gets -and whether it’s a splash pad, a hose, a sprinkler, or the faucet – he will always prefer an activity where he can get wet. (B1.5)
Currently there are no pets in the home.
Both kiddos have been cared for by the same nanny for almost a year, but she unfortunately can’t continue on, so the family is now looking for a new Nanny to fill her role.
Mom and Dad consider their family to be a fairly relaxed crew. They like to keep their kids on a schedule, but understand that life can happen, and pivot when needed. Their parenting approach is to be firm and direct with their children, speaking to them plainly and straightforward, while always remaining calm and patient.
The family's ideal candidate is:
Compassionate, Patient and Loving: Someone who will meet both children where they are emotionally and mentally. Understanding that a child’s mood can change with the breeze, the family would like a nanny who will recognize what their kiddos need in a particular moment, and connect with them accordingly.
A Teacher’s Heart : Someone who sees the importance of nurturing a child’s mind: Someone who will work with (B1.5) to meet his developmental milestones, and who will continue to teach (G3.5) her letters, sight words and writing words.
Adventurous Spirit : Someone who loves and is comfortable taking the kids out. Whether that’s the zoo, park, hikes, library, community events or play dates, both kiddos love being social and getting out of the house.
A Good Communicator : Mom and Dad value frequent communication, and appreciate a nanny who will keep them informed of any schedule changes, or any issues that come up with the children. They, in turn, will be sure to do the same.
Protective : Someone who will always keep their children safe and away from harm. (B1.5) does have a few food allergies (specifically tree nuts and eggs) and the family is working on getting his body accustomed to these items. Nannies who have experience caring for children with food allergies are certainly welcome.
Also, as there will be Driving involved, a nanny who is experienced and comfortable driving minors, and who has a clean driving record, is a must.
Family does not require candidates to have received the Covid Vaccine or Flu Shot.
If you are a nanny who wants a fun and active and respectful work environment – this is the job for you!
