About:
Mom and Dad are college sweet hearts who have been together for over 20 years. What began as a chance introduction by mutual friends, resulted in a lasting relationship that has carried them through many life seasons, including law school, marriage, career growth, and a journey to parenthood that has had its challenges, but ultimately provided them with their greatest blessings: their children.
Their oldest, (G6), is headed into first grade, and is a bright, independent little girl who embodies every bit of firstborn energy from two firstborn parents. She is smart, loving, and wonderfully selfassured. She is wise beyond her years and unafraid to take the lead. She adores art, dogs, her American Girl dolls, reading, and math. She enjoys piano lessons and will play NUSA soccer this year.
Her younger brother, (B4), is entering PreK, and is a tenderhearted, energetic little boy who has a way of stealing hearts wherever he goes. He is incredibly smart —often in quiet, subtle ways — and has that secondboy spark that keeps life fun. He loves all sports and balls, trucks, music, and books. He takes piano lessons and will play baseball this fall (and would happily play every sport if allowed).
Like most siblings that are 21 months apart, they share a sweet, lively bond where they are best friends one moment and classic rivals the next!
Also in the home is the family’s sweet and very well trained British Lab, who has her own schedule and will not need any care during the day.
Mom and Dad describe themselves as present, loving, and engaged parents who balance busy professional lives with calm connectedness at home. They encourage their littles to be creative, active and always learning, and have established healthy routines around food, screen time, and daily habits. Their consider their home an oasis - a place where the four of them regroup and recharge together, grounded and grateful for all of life’s blessings.
As Mom steps into a new chapter as CEO of a major Nashville organization, her schedule will bring fresh demands, evening commitments, and some travel. With this transition ahead — and Dad’s early mornings and professional obligations— they are looking for a reliable, loving Nanny/Family Assistant to help keep their home running smoothly and ensure their children feel supported and cared for throughout the week.

And understanding that driving is an important part of the job description, candidates who have experience transporting children, and who have a clean driving record, are a must.
Overview of nanny's typical work day:
During the school year, the day begins with gentle morning support starting at 7 AM - helping the children get dressed, preparing breakfast, gathering school items, and assisting with dropoffs as needed. Once the children are off to school, the nanny shifts into household management through midmorning, handling tasks such as laundry, home organization, returns, meeting vendors/contractors, and light tidying to keep the home running smoothly.
The afternoon picks up with a 3:00 p.m. PreK pickup, followed by settling in at home for a snack and starting homework. (G6) arrives around 4:00 p.m. after getting off the bus, and the nanny helps both children transition into their afternoon rhythm — changing clothes, preparing for activities, and heading to soccer or baseball practice from 5:00–6:00 p.m. Most weeks, Mom plans to meet the nanny at practice or back at home, depending on the day.
End of day – typically 6/6:15 pm
*There will be weeks when Mom has evening events and travel, and on those weeks, a nanny can expect to end her day a little later at 7pm.
While the Summer schedule is not yet known, it will likely be similar to the school year, with camps and activities scheduled during the day.
