Overview: A joyful, loving family seeking a part‑time nanny and family assistant to care for their infant son and support household routines.

About: Mom is originally from Macon, Georgia and moved to Nashville after living in Charleston for several years. She met Dad here four years later. Mom works for a local Foundation, supporting charitable giving across Nashville’s nonprofit community. Her schedule is somewhat flexible, with in‑office hours Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM, and remote work on Fridays.
Dad is from Austin, Texas and attended Sewanee, which brought him to Nashville. He works as a Project Manager for Cushman and Wakefield, often traveling to job sites during the day, including occasional day trips or overnights to Chattanooga.
Together, Mom and Dad enjoy great restaurants, travel, and staying active. Since their son was born, life has shifted toward family time, and they’re embracing this new season with joy and gratitude. Dad is a football fan and avid reader, while Mom loves cooking, needlepoint, and spending time with friends.
Their son, (B8mos), was born on April 24 and is a happy, giggly baby who brings immense joy to their lives. After a long journey through IVF, a high‑risk pregnancy, and a brief NICU stay, he is now thriving. He’s working on crawling, loves bouncing, and is full of sweet babbles and smiles.
Also in the home is Hazel, the family’s 11‑year‑old chihuahua, who is sweet but barky. She will mostly stay upstairs and won’t interact much with the nanny.
This warm and loving family centers their life around authenticity, humility, and kindness. They value grace, forgiveness, and open communication, and want their home to be joyful, and engaging. While they aim for structure, they follow their baby’s cues for bottles and naps. Their faith is central to their lives, and they hope to raise their son with Christian values rooted in love and grace.

The family's ideal candidate is:
Safe: Someone who will prioritize the safety and wellbeing of their son at all times.
Responsible: Someone reliable, and confident in managing daily routines.
Experienced: Someone who understands infant development, can read baby cues, and help support feeding, play, and transitions.
Warm: Someone nurturing and calm, and who will become a trusted member of the family.
Flexible: Someone open to supporting the household with light cleaning, laundry, and errands.
Experienced Driver: Someone comfortable and confident driving minors, including daily school pickup.
Infant and toddler experience is essential, and familiarity with developmental milestones is highly valued. The family hopes their nanny will also seek out opportunities for enrichment and connection during their time together.
Family does not require candidates to have received the Covid Vaccine or Flu Shot. They DO REQUIRE candidates to have a current Tdap.

Overview of nanny’s typical work day:
(B8mos) attends daycare at Woodmont Baptist from 8:50 AM to 2:30 PM.
The nanny will pick him up at 2:30 and care for him until 4:30/5 PM Monday through Thursday. During this time, the nanny will engage in age‑appropriate play, feed bottles or solids, and support his developmental milestones.
To provide a fuller schedule and attract a strong candidate, the family is open to adding Family Assistant hours during the week. Responsibilities may include light cleaning (bottles, kitchen, tidying), laundry, errands, returns, grocery shopping, meal prep, and managing home appointments. The family is flexible on how and when these additional hours are scheduled.
